FULL-TIME Editor/Cinematographer - MTB Content
We’re looking for an Editor/Cinematographer to join the Anthill crew and help us create MTB-focussed short films, commercials and social media clips. This is a full-time, 1-year contract with opportunity to grow into a permanent position.
What you do:
Work with production team to plan, concept and shoot bike-focussed short films and commercials
Organize, prep and rent required equipment for shoots
Coordinate and collaborate with athletes for each production
Create rough scripts and shot lists
Lead and support shoots by capturing dynamic action and compelling storylines
Capturing audio and directing interviews with talent as required
Backing up and organizing all footage
Edit footage into engaging short films and commercials that deliver on the concept and client objectives
Creating basic 2D graphics
Working and providing feedback to post-production partners to create high quality graphics, sound design, narration and colour correction
Performing music research to select soundtracks that are within budget
Working with Producer to insure video productions are completed on schedule and on budget
About you:
Concepting, creating and distributing high-quality short films for outdoor adventure audiences, specifically mountain biking
Excellent technical skills and a command of all aspects of post-production including, editing, compositing, retouching,encoding, sound production and media management
Demonstrated camera operation experience with an emphasis on action sports and a proficiency and comfort shooting in mountain environments
Experience working with DaVinci Resolve and After Effects.
Experience with RAW footage workflows
Having fun outside and riding bikes
CONTRACT: Editor - Long Format Content ( Web & TV Series)
We’re looking for an experienced editor for a TV series starting post-production this spring for a 4-month contract. There is also potential work for a docu-style web series that is in development.
What you do:
Work with the director, writer and producer to clearly understand the concept, style, and intent of videos being produced
Assemble live-action footage into rough, fine and final cut edits as needed
Edit and work with music, dialogue, and sound FX
Self-manage reviews, feedback, and scheduling of work
Suggest and select music; work with Sound Supervisor to plan and shape sound design
Colour grade or prep files for colour correction ingest
Back up projects and archive footage
About you:
Experience editing long-format series content for web and TV
High level of skill editing in DaVinci Resolve and After Effects
Working with RAW footage workflows
Creative thinking and storytelling
Working independently and as part of a team
Having fun outside and riding bikes
Ideally living in the Sea-to-Sky corridor
PROJECT WORK: Graphic Designer
We’re looking to expand our network and meet like-minded designers to help us create artwork for short and feature length films.
What you do:
Create all kinds of artwork from concept through to completion for film titles, logos, posters, merchandise, web design, pitch decks, advertisements and any other crazy ideas we can come up with
Create work that meets the creative goals of the project on time and on budget
Self-manage reviews, feedback, and scheduling of work
Work with production team to develop and create unique artwork for individual projects
Work with third-party designers and artists to help bring a concept to life when needed
What you know about:
Making cool stuff in all kinds of cool ways
Minimum of three years professional experience; some agency experience preferred
Excellence with Adobe Creative Suite is expected, especially Photoshop, Illustrator and inDesign
Working independently and as part of a team
Experience with photography and video

PROJECT WORK: Motion Graphic Artist
We’re looking to expand our network and meet like-minded artists to help us create 2D and 3D motion graphics for our films and commercial projects.
What you do:
Work with graphic designers, editors and directors to design and develop compelling content for Anthill projects
Use existing static assets and storyboards to create engaging animations of varying styles (2D, 3D, VFX)
Assess technical needs and timelines in advance of concept review and approval
Assist in developing critical paths to help us deliver on time, on budget
Share in regular progress updates and gather feedback from the creative team
Bring new creative ideas, technologies and methods to the table
About you:
3 - 5 years of experience as a motion graphic artist
Proficiency with various motion/animation platforms and production workflows (i.e. After Effects,Fusion, Cinema 4D, Maya, 3dsMax, Blender, Houdini, etc.)
Proven ability to translate graphic assets and storyboards into engaging animations
Familiarity with the world of marketing communications/commercial client work
Having fun outside and riding bikes
