This is a tale of epic adventure. A tale of seven brave riders who set out from the four corners of the globe to gather together under one roof in a town located at the ends of the earth. A tale with no beginning and no end, but where a few things happen in between. Things like eel fights. Yeah that’s right... f’n eel fights. So watch this movie. Why? Because it’s… NotBad. 30 days of bicycle tomfoolery in New Zealand.

"I have two young kids that tear my house apart and scream all day, so going to New Zealand for a month to film a bike movie sounded like a great idea. Turns out, living with the C3 team was basically the same thing. But overall it was... not bad." - Darcy Wittenburg, Anthill Films

Based in Queenstown, New Zealand, the crew and riders were able to access a huge diversity of locations, from epic alpine singletrack, to the dirt-jump heaven at the Gorge Road jumps, to building mind-bending stunts on the famous Frew Farm. Throw in an unlimited number of extra-curricular activities, a fully stocked mansion, plus five cameras rolling at all times, and the perfect conditions were in place to capture some good times.

"Filming an entire short film in one trip over the course of one month is a very ambitious mission. I was skeptical, but when I found out we'd be shooting the whole thing on the South Island of New Zealand, I thought...Hmm...not bad." - Cam McCaul

NotBad is produced, written, directed and edited by Anthill Films and presented by Trek in association with JBL, Shimano, Bontrager, and Pinkbike.com. Additional support for the film was provided by Tourism New Zealand, Air New Zealand, Destination Queenstown, Good Fortune Collective, and Immersive Media.

"The guys on C3 Project are some of the best riders in the world. The Anthill guys are some of the best filmmakers in the world. Seemed like a pretty sound notion to deport them to New Zealand for a month and see what happens. Thankfully it turned out not bad." - Travis Ott, Trek Bicycle

NotBad will be available worldwide exclusively on iTunes starting July 29th, 2013. Everyone is invited to check out the full 30-minute film by tuning in for the free online premiere starting at 10:00am PST to 11:59pm PST on July 29th.
